Quickwrite: I am thankful for...

Everyone, no matter how poor or downtrodden, has something for which to be thankful.

In the 1700's, after being robbed, John Wesley wrote about what he was thankful for: he wasn't killed, he didn't have much money to be stolen, he wasn't the person out robbing people, etc.

Think about what you're thankful for today. You can write about one thing or many things, but explain WHY you are thankful for each, and remember that you need to write for 5 minutes. Include details. Don't worry about grammar, punctuation, or spelling. You will work on those later.
