Lesson 30 - Along for the Ride

Sylvia had a new baby brother. His name was Henry. Every day after school, Sylvia and her mother took Henry for a stroller ride. The stroller was big and had a basket attached to it underside.

One afternoon, Mom carried Henry's diaper bag during their walk. It was very heavy. Sylvia could see that Mom was getting tired.

"Mom, why don't I put the bag in the basket under the stroller?"

"That's a good idea!" said Mom. Sylvia took the bag from Mom. She leaned down to put the bag in the basket. Just then, Peaches, the family cat, jumped out of the basket and stood by Sylvia's feet.

Sylvia laughed. "Mom, it looks like Peaches likes stroller rides, too!"
