The Discovery
This story is about a girl named Isobel. Her brother Arturo is in college
studying to be an archaeologist. An archaeologist is someone who studies artifacts to find out how people lived long ago. Artifacts may include things like old graves, tools, and buildings. Arturo invites Isobel on an archaeology expedition to look for Native American artifacts. She is very excited about going on this trip.
