Finding the approximate and accurate area of a circle, a regular plane.

To find the approximate area of an object
1. Trace the outline onto a piece of grid paper
2.Tick all the complete squares and incomplete squares that have half or more than half of their area within the traced outline.
3.Count and record the total numner of ticks.
4.Calculate the area of one square
5. Calculate the approximate area of the object using the formula
Area = Number of ticks counted X Area of one square
