Lesson 32 - Mrs. Small's Gift

Jada and Catherine really liked their teacher, Mrs. Small. Mrs. Small read stories better than anyone else.

When Mrs. Small said she would not be teaching next year, Jada and Catherine knew they would miss her.

"Let's get a present for her before she leaves," said Catherine.

Jada and Catherine searched all over the mall. They could not find anything they liked.

"Let's look in just one more store," said Catherine.

They walked into the card store. On a tiny shelf there was a statue of a woman reading to a group of children.

"This is perfect!" said Jada. "When Mrs. Small looks at this statue, she will think of us!"
