World History B - Unit 12 Collage Project
Begin brainstorming ideas for a collage that you will be creating about a Revolution. • You can choose one from any of the topics that we have covered during the Age of Democratic Revolutions, Revolutions in the Arts, Industries, and Work units (in your text pages 348–515). o First, make sure you are aware of the components of a collage. A collage is an artwork made by combining paper (quotes), fabric, photographs, and other objects. • You can complete this project in one of three different ways: o Use a PowerPoint slide as your “canvas” to create your collage, or a o Microsoft Word page, or o Create it by hand on paper* • The collage will need to be submitted through Kmail as an attachment. *For the hand-made paper version, you will need to take a digital picture, and attach the picture as a .jpeg file. 1. Next, consider this about the purpose of this collage: You will use this collage and the images you select to demonstrate the changing customs, beliefs, and history during the time period of the Revolution of your choice. 2. In addition to creating a collage, you will be composing a paragraph description explaining why you selected the items on your collage and how they relate to the Revolution. This assignment will be submitted to your History teacher through K-mail. **Please review attached rubric.
