Open Response -- Walking Away from Omelas
Open Response prompt: "In LeGuin's story, some people walk away from Omelas. What about Omelas can't they accept, and in what manner do they walk away? In other words, why do they leave (consider the child and the "rules" regarding it), and how do they leave (their manner and attitude in leaving)? Use relevant and specific information from the excerpt to support your answer." Write a minimum of 200 words.
