(II) School Uniforms

In elementary schools where students wear uniforms, there are fewer discipline problems. Experts believe that it is because when students dress better, they behave better. They also believe that uniforms erase social barriers that divide students into groups that make it apparent which students are more affluent. This idea has been used with success in private schools and court schools as well as boot camps. Often, students who have attended these programs have emerged from them praising them.
