Lesson 28 - A Summer Letter

Dear Clarissa,
How is your summer? Mine is great so far. Last week my parents and I camped on the beach. We cooked dinner on a campfire, and then we sat around and sang songs. When the campfire went out, we looked up and counted as many stars as we could see.

I think the beach is a hard place to camp. The wind off the water can be strong. Sometimes it blew sand into my eyes and hair. The beach is also very pretty. There are interesting birds and shells. I would like to camp there again. Maybe you can come next time!
