Sport of Reading - Orange 05

Many medical laboratories throughout the world have discovered the usefulness of the Marmoset. This small monkey with enormous eyes and white tufts of hair protruding from its ears is a cuddly brown-haired creature. The marmoset is gradually taking the place of rats and mice in these laboratories because this little monkey is physically so much more like humans.

The native home of the Marmoset is the rain forest of South America, but since these animals are friendly and inexpensive to buy and feed, they are shipped world wide. The same characteristics that make the Marmoset excellent for use as a LABORATORY animal also make it a DESIRABLE animal for zoos and even for a house pet. Marmosets are smarter than dogs, don't eat as much as horses, don't scratch like cats, and can be more exciting to watch than fish. Wouldn't you like a Marmoset for a pet? Do you think you could make your room into an acceptable substitute for a rain forest?
