Paul Chan is a painter. Not many painters work the way he does. He does not paint houses. he does not paint little pictures. What does he do? How does Paul differ from other painters?

Paul Chan lives and works in New York City. Where does he paint? He paints high above New York's famous Times Square. he paints the HUGE signs that look down on the people in New York's theater district.

Mr. Chan's latest work of art stands 35 feet high. It is ore than one city block long. It is so huge that the artist had to paint it in many parts. Each part was four feet by eight feet in size.
