Subordinating Conjunctions: Als, wenn, wann (Shaum's pp.254)
ALS refers to a single action in the past. It is used with the simple past, present perfect and past perfect. WENN has a meaning similar to'if' in English, when we express a conditional, and can also have the meaning of 'whatever'. WANN is the interrogative 'when' and is used to ask questions.
