Listen to the lecture we heard this morning in Listening and Speaking. Pay close attention to how the speaker uses organizing phrases. Remember, organizing phrases are used in speaking to announce what the speaker is going to do or say, signal a change in the topic that is being discussed, or to summarize the information the speaker presented to his/her audience.
