Latin 1a Homework 14

Here are three passages and a few questions to keep your toes in Latin waters over Thanksgiving: Page 69: "Cicero on the Ethics..." [vocabulary helps can be found in your book...please work from your text book passage where macrons are properly marked, etc.] Page 76 "When I Have Enough" [be sure to read the notes following this two line epigram. The word 'nulli' you haven't had yet but it here it means "to nobody" - it is a comparison to the multis that is in the beginning of the line. p. 77 The untitled paragraph at the top beginning with "Si vis studere..." Then gives your verbs a little brush up with the three questions about this passage at the end.
