DGP 6 Homework Commas in a series and commas with adjectives

Remember when have 2 or more adjectives, can you substitute AND for it and/or you can reverse the order--example: The dark, dreary day has the coordinate adjectives DARk and DREARY. You could say the DREARY and DARK day, and you didn't change the meaning. If you can reverse the order or put AND, then you put a comma between the two adjectives!
