GT 7 Homework Linking Verbs
A linking verb links the subject of the sentence with another word that renames or describles the subject. If it renames (noun or pronoun) the subject it is a PREDICATE NOMINATIVE (PN). If it describes (adjective) the subject it is a PREDICATE ADJECTIVE (PA). Tell whether the following sentences contain a predicate nominative, a predicate adjective, or no PA or PN.
