CLC Stage 20 - NEW Participle Agreement
Choose the correct Case, Number, and Gender of the participle to match the noun in all capital letters. REMEMBER that they can be *nested* WITHIN the participial phrase 1) accusatives, 2) prepositional phrases, and 3) the whole sentence if the noun in all caps is the FIRST word and the participle is the LAST. READ THE FEEDBACK! **HINT: Most sentences are simple NOM + ACC + VERB patterns with prepositional phrases stuck in. Keep that in mind when trying to determine whether you need a nominative or an accusative. (This is a combination of the old Participle I and II quias.) 2013.
