You're going to write a sentence explaining what foods each person wants to eat. For example, if you see the subject "Diego" and the food "comida americana", you might say:
A: Diego prefiere comer hamburguesas, pollo frito, y perros calientes (Diego prefers to eat hamburgers, fried chicken, and hot dogs).
Note, I DID NOT just write "Diego prefiere comer comida americana". I specified WHICH foods Diego likes to eat that belong to the class "American food". Look at the example on page 290 (activity 3) if you're still confused.
