Look on page 294 in the "Affirmative and Negative Words" box. You're going to fill in the blanks in the sentences below with EITHER "alguno/alguna" or "ninguno, ninguna". Which one you choose depends on whether the sentence is affirmative or negative (i.e. if the word "no" is present in the sentence). Make sure you're selecting for gender (i.e. between alguno OR alguna) AND number (algunos/algunas and ningunos/ningunas).
IMPORTANT: With singular, MASCULINE words (like "restaurante" or "video"), "alguno" and "ninguno" shorten to "algún" and "ningún". The feminine counterparts (alguna/ninguna) do NOT shorten. Be careful!
