Change the following direct quotations to indirect discourse using the General Past Subjunctive.
Model:
Peter hat gesagt: "Ich konnte meine Eltern nicht überzeugen."
Peter hat gesagt, er hätte seine Eltern nicht überzeugen können.
Note the use of the modals in some sentences -- DOUBLE INFINITIVE!
