TEAL LAB PROCEDURES AND POLICIES
We have the benefit of having TEAL Lab B/C as our regular classroom for the Fall Semester. We will be engaging in innovative lessons and activities that take full advantage of the technology at our disposal. In order to ensure that the Lab functions at the highest possible level, it is necessary that specific procedures be followed and policies adhered to on a daily basis. The following is what is expected of you:
1. Upon arrival to class, remove your binder and pen from your backpack, place your backpack along the wall, and take your seat. This should be done within two minutes of the bell.
2. Because of the technology available to us, iPads are not to be at your desks unless specifically requested by your teacher. Your everyday materials are your binder and pen - nothing else.
3. No eating or drinking in the lab.
4. Do not spin in the chairs.
5. Do not interact with people outside the TEAL Lab
6. Do not touch the computer equipment unless instructed.
7. The following behaviors will result in an automatic referral to the Dean of Students:
-tampering with any piece of lab hardware. This includes changing the keys on the keyboard, switching the infrared USBs for the mice, or tampering with the monitor's settings.
-changing any of the default settings on at the computer stations. This includes display, default language, adding or deleting bookmarks.
