Collision Repair Safety Exam

This safety exam covers basic shop safety and school policies that pertain to the collision repair program. All students are required to make 100% on the collision repair safety exam. Prior to taking this exam all students must read the safety contract below.

Safety Contract
By completing this exam I (the student) acknowledge that I understand all shop safety rules and will abide by all shop safety rules. I (the student) understand that uniforms, safety or steel toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves, latex gloves, paint respirators, ear plugs, face shields, welding gloves and helmets, and other PPE (personal protective equipment) are my responsibility and that I must bring these items to class every day. I (the student) understand that I will not be able to work in lab if I am missing one of the required safety items. I (the student) understand that if I am selected shop and safety foreman that I am to inspect the lab and students for safety violations and report those violations according to the shop safety plan. I (the student) understand that I will not be able to work in lab unless I make 100% on this safety exam. If I (the student) am in violation of a safety rule, I will address the safety violation by discussing it with Mr.Pearson and then he will either call my parent and explain what safety aspect I am in violation of or I will write a one page paper on shop safety. I (the student) understand that horse play is an unsafe act and could cause myself or another person to become injured; I will not participate in horse play. By taking this exam, I (the student) agree that I have read, understand, and will follow the Shop safety Guidelines, Laboratory Safety Program, Shop Safety Program, and the Duties of the Student Safety Person. Personal safety is my responsibility and I agree to do my part at all times.
