CLC Stage 33-34: Translating Participles
Choose the best translation for the participial phrase in all capital letters. Remember, Ablative Absolutes are ABSOLULTELY ON THEIR OWN and not part of the main clause. Nouns with modifying participles (that are NOT ablative absolutes) are an intricate part of the main clause (most often the nominative/subject or the accusative/direct object).
