12 Angry Men persuasive essay topics

Next week you will be working on (during one full computer lab day and for homework) a masterful persuasive essay in response to 12 Angry Men. In your writing you'll be asked to take a position about some weakness you see in our court or jury system (one that is in evidence in the play we've just finished) that you feel could be improved upon. Over the weekend, consider the topics we brainstormed in class. You'll be asked to lean on both material from this play and from one or more outside sources, so there may even be a chance for you to use that court case you did some research into!
