Presente do Subjuntivo
Find the right answer for all questions using the Subjunctive Present in Portuguese. Remember that a second sentence is in the Indicative Present.
Find the fist person (eu) of the Present Indicative, exchange the last letter either by -a or -e, accordingly [for AR ending verbs in the infinitive exchange the last letter for 'e', for ER and IR ending verbs in the infinitive exchange the letter for 'a'.
Ex.: falAR - Eu falo - Eu fal_ = Que eu falE
dizER - Eu digo - Eu dig_ = Que eu digA
fugIR - Eu fujo - Eu fuj_ = Que eu fujA
There are conjunctions that indicate that a phrase should go into the Subjunctive Present form. Some of them are:
Espero que [I wish that];
Talvez [maybe, perhaps];
Tomara que [hopefully];
Assim que [as soon (as) that];
Desejo que [I wish that];
Desde que [since that]
