Answering questions in Latin: * quis (who) wants the subject (nominative case) * ubi (where) wants a prepositional phrase (in/on; near) * quō (to where) wants a prepositional phrase showing motion (to) * quid facit (what's he doing) wants the verb * quem (whom) wants the direct object (accusative case) when it's a person * quid (what) can want the direct object (accusative case) when it is a thing.
