Cover Page Activity 13

Activity 13 will get your mind to start thinking about CNC machining and the processes involved. In this activity you will need to design a puzzle to be cut out on our CNC Mill.

Learning Objective - 5.2.6. Apply coordinate systems (e.g., absolute, relative, user, cylindrical, Cartesian).

To Receive Credit 30pts. you will need the following:
1. Using graph paper mark an area 3"x3" create a puzzle (see example), make sure you keep 1/4" from all 4 sides.
2. Mark every change in direction with a circle and a letter.
3. Make a sheet with each letter and it X & Y coordinate on the Cartesian Coordinate System (THIS IS IN DECIMAL INCHES).
4. Get a Emco Program Sheet and fill it out. (google Drive in Activity 13 folder)
5. Enter the program and Graph it.

*The Physical Part will be made at a later date.
