Passage: Designated Driver (Comprehension)

Jack was at a ball game with his fellas. He was on his second drink and feeling good because his team was winning. His fellas were feeling good, too. Jack's team just scores a three point field goal. The fellas all jumped up and Jack spilled beer all over his jersey. How terrible, Jack thought. He put the beer down and one of his fellas gave him another one. By the end of the game, the fellas were all wasted. Jack suddenly realized that no one designated a driver before the game and, by now, he regretted his decision to throw care to the wind. He knew he had more than his two drink limit and he was remorseful. The fellas stumbled out of their seats and headed to the car. While walking to the car, they began discussing who should act as designated driver. They all thought Jack should act as designated driver because it was his turn. Jack thought long and hard and decided not to act as designated driver. He found a cab for himself and the guys. He returned the next day to pick up the car.
