Distance vs Displacement

Distance is the total path traveled by a moving object. Distance does not include direction.
Displacement is the change in position of the object. It is the straight line distance between the starting point and ending point of an object.
Displacement ALWAYS includes direction (N, SW, towards home, etc.)
MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE UNITS!!! MAKE SURE THERE IS A SPACE IN BETWEEN ANY NUMBER AND ANY UNIT AND ANY UNIT AND ANY DIRECTION.
