When entering formulas do not enter subscripts. A formula of K2S would be typed in as K2S.
Spelling counts! If you misspell a word it will be counted wrong.
Only use parenthesis when needed.
Do not capitalize compound names.
Use proper capitalization in formulas.
Use a * when working with hydrates
