Decide first which word is the direct object. Now rewrite the sentence replacing the direct object by the correct pronoun. Remember that when there is one verb the direct object pronoun immediately precedes the one conjugated verb. If there are 2 verbs in the same clause the pronoun goes smack dab in front of the infinitive.

J'adore mes grands-parents.
Je les adore.
Je vais planifier la fête
Je vais la planifier.
