Use the FOIL method for multiply. Multiply the first digits, outside + inside, then lasts digits. For example:
24 x 32 =
(4x2) first digits = 8
(2x2) outside + (4x3) insides = 16 write down the 6 carry the 1
(2x3) lasts + the 1 carried = 7
