¿Bueno o bien?
These two words are often confused in Spanish, as their equivalents are in English. "Bueno" (and its forms) = good - an adjective, and "bien"* = well- an adverb. Bueno will describe nouns, and bien modifies verbs, adverbs or adjectives. Be careful to use them correctly. This activity should help you master the difference, and incorporate what you practice in what you produce. For this activity, write the correct form of "bueno" or "bien" that correctly completes the sentence. Remember that "bueno" shorttens to "buen" before (and only before) a masculine singular noun. *BIEN can also translate to "pretty" before an adjective, as in my house is "pretty" old.
