The present tense of regular -ir verbs is formed by adding the endings (Je) -is, (Tu) -is, (Il/elle/on) -it, (nous) -issons, (Vous) -issez, and (Ils/elles)-issent to the stem of the verb.
finir (to finish): EXAMPLE: *****je finis (I finish, I do finish, I am finishing) *****tu finis (You finish) ***** il/elle/on finit (He/she/it finishes) ***nous finissons (We finish) **** vous finissez (You finish) *****ils/elles finissent (they finish).
