Assignment: All scholars should read 1st and 2nd Samuel and 1st and 2nd Kings. Identify who the kings are and who the prophets are in all 4 books. It might help to categorize or organize which prophets served which kings, etc.
Make your commentary accurate and concise; biblically and historically correct and as brief as possible without leaving out any important information. Observe the timeline of events - the years when kings and prophets served and again, keep them in chronological order.
