Post iēntāculum in peristȳliō Antōnia prope mātrem sedet et Mārcus prope parvam arborem stat. Māter dīxit, “Venī, Mārce, et prope nōs sedē. Ut ante dīxī, mōnstrum ad fēminam pulcherrimam appropinquat. Haec fēmina est Andromeda, fīlia Cassiopēae.”
Mārcus rogat, “Quid fēcit Andromeda? Estne fēmina mala?”
Vēsōnia respondet, “Minimē, mī fīlī, est bona, sed māter huius fēminae est nimis superba. Cassiopēa rēgīna Aethiopiae nūntiāvit, ‘Fīliae Neptūnī, incolae hārum aquārum prope Aethiopiam, sunt īrātae quod ego tam pulchra sum. Sine dubiō hae sunt pulchrae, sed ego sum pulcherrima.’
