Day 1 making complex sentences with Relative pronouns

Combine the two short sentences into one complex sentence by removing the repeated element in the second sentence and connecting the two sentences with a relative pronoun. Leave the first sentence as the first sentence.

We are working with four relative pronouns: que (qu'), dont, qui and où...there are 8 practice problems and you will use each of the four twice.

DO NOT RETYPE the sentences. Copy and paste the original sentences (minus, naturally, the repeated element in the second sentence, and plus, naturally, the relative pronoun that will link the two original sentences into one complex sentence) so that you do not introduce spelling errors that will cause Quia to count your answer wrong.

Only four attempts allowed. Do not log in until you have secure wifi and time to complete the attempt.
