Unit 1.11: 1-step metric conversions practice

Read all of the following directions BEFORE starting the assignment:

Use the conversion chart to solve each 1-step metric conversion. The larger unit should be a "one" in the conversion factor for each problem. The other unit should be the conversion value from the chart. If you follow these rules, the exponent within your conversion factor will always be positive, even if it is negative in the chart. You should record your answer in scientific notation with the same number of significant figures as your original number. You should use the carrot (^) key to show exponents, and you must include the new unit in your answer.

For example: 2.97 x 10^4 g

All work must be written out in your notebook or on a separate sheet of paper. It may be checked at the time of submission.
