Important question words in Spanish:

1. Note that certain question words are used differently in Spanish from how they are used in English. For example, when ¿cómo? is used on its own it means, what? Or how's that?There are several other cases in which cómo is translated as what in English:
¿Cómo te llamas?-•➤ What's your name? or How do you call yourself?
2. Note also that quién and cuál have singular and plural forms.
¿Quiénes van a ir mañana?/ ¿Quién va a ir mañana?-•➤ Who is going tomorrow?
The plural version of this question implies that more than one person will go.
