3.2.22 Ordering the Imperfect and Perfect Tense Verbs - Spring 2022

Use the verb spectō, spectāre, spectavī and form the imperfect and perfect tenses. Put the verb forms in order. Start with the 1st person singular form and end with the 3rd person plural form. The imperfect tense is formed from the 2nd principle part (the infinitive - spectāre). The 1st step is to drop the re of the infinitive. The 2nd step is to add the ba tense indicator for the imperfect. The 3rd step is to add the correct personal ending. After you put the imperfect tense in order then put the perfect tense in order. The perfect tense is built from the 3rd principle part (spectavī). Begin with the 1st person singular form and end with the 3rd person plural form.
