This survey intends to identify skills and competencies of our successful associates servicing our clients. As we support our associates in their daily tasks, we need your help in sharing what makes a successful associate here at ADP. Take a few minutes to go through the items below.

    Computer / Technology Skills - Ability to utilize computers and technology efficiently. Has the foundations and basic knowledge of typing, usage of a mouse, email, internet, word processing and spreadsheets.
    Communications Skills - Able to listen to others, as well as successfully relay their own ideas and opinions verbally, non verbal and written.
    Compliance Skills - Is aware, conforms and take steps to comply with relevant laws, policies and regulations
    Functional Role Skills - Competencies that are transferable to many different work settings such as communication, organization, research and planning, interpersonal, computer and basic math
    Interpersonal Skills - Know as "people skills", involve communication and the ability to work well with others.
    Intrapersonal/Thinking Skills - Ability to learn, being able to understand and manage own emotions, self-confidence, self-discipline, self-motivation, being able to overcome boredom.
    Decision Making Skills - Able to define and articulate the problem, evaluate sound options and able to carry out solution and assess the result.
    Leadership Skills - Ability to influence, motivate, and enable others to contribute towards the shared goal
    MS Office Skills - Ability to open, create, save and modify documents in Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as sending and receiving email in Outlook
    Organizational Skills - Ability to efficiently manage time, workload and resources
    People Management Skills - Can handle interpersonal conflicts, manage deadlines, and build company culture
    Product Specific Skills - Can solve day-to-day problems and meeting short- and long-term client and business objectives
    Project Management Skills - Must be highly organized and detail oriented. Business savvy, with the ability to see how the project is tied to the organization’s business goals. People friendly and open to self assessment and evaluation.
    Service Delivery Skills - passionate in providing excellent customer service, possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and enjoys working as part of a team.
    Self- Management Skills - has the ability to control his/her feelings, emotions, and actions. Set goals independently and take the initiative to achieve them.
    Time Management Skill - Highly organized. Knows how to distinguish priorities and set and understand long term and short term goals
    Change Competency - Ability to react to and manage change over and over again.
    Functional Competency - Ability to drive high-performance and give quality results for a given position.
    Learning Competency - able to apply learning objectives specific to a course of instruction.
    Organizational Competency - has the ability to be effective in their job, role, function, task, or duty. Must have job-relevant behaviour (what the employees say or do which result in good or poor performance), motivated (how the employees feel about a job, organization, or geographic location), and has technical knowledge/skills (what the employees know/demonstrate regarding facts, technologies, their professions, procedures, jobs, and the organization, etc.).
    Process Adherence Competency - willingness to learn, adhere and improve processes.
    Product Competency - has extensive product knowledge and able to leverage proficiency to share knowledge.
    Teamwork Competency - ability to work with others toward a shared goal, participating actively, sharing responsibility and rewards, and contributing to the capability of the team.
    Technical Competency - has knowledge of, and skill in the exercise of, practices required for successful accomplishment of a business, job, or task.
