  1. Please look at the photo below. A body paragraph MUST contain those 4 things.
    What a body paragraph MUST include:
    • Your claim (thesis statement) and one support
    • Evidence from the video that shows the support is true
    • Include an explanation of evidence from the video
    • Uses transitions to move between parts



  1. Here is my BODY PARAGRAPH #1 that I wrote....notice the following things:
    1)I indented
    2)My first sentence is my thesis statement about the boys with only one support ("the boys were determined because they built the pitch")
    3)Sentences 2, 3 and 4 are quotes/details from the video that PROVE the boys were determined because they built a pitch
    4)Sentences 5 and 6 are my own words/my own explanation of why I THINK they were determined when they built the pitch
    5)Notice I was able to use one transitional phrase- "After spending all day in school"- (this transitional phrase shows that a long period of time has passed)
