A&P Storyline Survey

I am working on flipping my A&P class on-site to storyline or themed instruction. You worked on diabetes. Others that we have created so far are myocardial infarction to cover the heart, fear for the brain, marathon runner for skeletal and muscular, asthma for respiratory, Hashimotos for the lymphatic and infertility for reproductive. I am trying to figure out if this format could work for on-line instruction. Please give me your feedback on the following questions to see if we should try another one or stick to traditional on-line lessons.

  1. Do you like starting a unit with a disease or condition to focus on?
    Yes
    No

  1. On the initial jamboard, what are some suggestions you have on how to make the directions clearer from the beginning. Was jamboard easy to use for you? Did you like flipping through and seeing what others students put on their boards?

  1. Do you like using KWL's to identify what you already know and what you would like to learn?
    Yes
    No

  1. Which type of notes do you prefer, pear deck or the kind we used this time with urinary notes (where you get a little info, answer some questions, move to next bit of info, answer some questions....)
    peardeck
    urinary notes

  1. In the card sorting activity, did you like to have actual paper copies of the cards or would you have rather just done it on the computer?

  1. Did you like using the article to figure out the card sort activity or was it too difficult to do on your own? What did you like or not like about it. Were the directions clear enough?

  1. Even if you are unable to do an actual dissection, did you like the virtual dissection? What did you like and not like about it?

  1. Would you like to try another storyline or just stick with traditional on-line learning modules?
