Monday was Columbus day. Some cities and states instead observed Indigenous People's Day.
Students read about the day and name change in some cities, watched a video on Columbus the explorer, and read an article about Italian-American point of view on Columbus and the day.
Some have called for statues of Columbus to be removed from public places. Others think they should stay up. Please share your viewpoints below.
