- Pro-rating Option #1
This is an example of the break down in the math. A student will only receive 78% of the final grade.
A student scores 90 points on a 100-point exam, thus obtaining 90% (90/100=0.9=90%). 78% of 90= 70.2% (.78 x 90). The student’s final grade on their test will be a 70.2%
A student scores 62 points on a 75-point exam, thus obtaining 82.7% (62/75=.826=82.7%). 78% of 82.7=64.5% (.78 x 82.7). The student’s final grade on their test will be a 64.5%
A student scores 75 points on a 75-point exam, thus obtaining 100% (75/75=1=100%). 78% of 100=78% (.78 x 100) The student’ final grade on their test will be a 78%”

- Pro-rating Option#2
The student will receive 5-10% reduction in grade for each day late up to 3 days. After 3 days the student will receive a Zero “0”
o Example: A student scores 90 points on a 100 point exam, thus obtaining a 90% (90/100=0.9=90%). 5% of 90= 4.5 (0.5x90=4.5). 90-4.5=85.5%
o Example: A student scores 62 points on a 100 point exam, thus obtaining a 62% (62/100=0.62=62%) 5% of 62= 3.1 (0.5x62=3.1) 62.3.1=58.9%

- Pro-rating Option#3
• A deduction of 5% of original assignment points will be taken off per day, up to 3 days. After 3 days the student will receive a Zero “0”

A deduction of 10% of original assignment points will be taken off per day, up to 3 days. After 3 days the student will receive a Zero “0”
