  1. Would you support combining greenhand conference, nursery & landscape, land judging, and entomology back together on the same day to save a day off the calendar?

    Pros - We have done this both as combined events and separate events over the past few years. Saves a day off the calendar with them combined.

    Cons- Many like the day to give special attention to the greenhands. 6 district officers cannot participate in the CDE's that day. Greenhands & DO's could not participate in the Land CDE for sure... possibly Nursery and Ento if start times were later or CDE's ran past noon.*

  1. I would support moving the greenhand conference date to a different day in the week or possibly a week later if we could get a current National FFA Officer to greenhand conference instead of the National Officer Candidate from Kansas.*

  1. Would you be support moving Ag mechanics off to a stand alone day apart from speech & farm management if it was hosted in Manhattan by Linweld and Manhattan Area Tech School?

    Pros - MATC has the facilities to host the event and seems to be very interested. Business & Industry plus postsecondary connection for this CDE would be good for students.

    Cons - Adds a day to the calendar since this has been with Superday or Speech during recent years.*

  1. In reference to question #3 above, would you be in support of keeping Ag Mechanics on the same day as speech and farm management if it involved bussing students from Wamego to Manhattan? (If transportation was pre-arranged for those that need it..)*
