Choose one mission statement for our class.
Remember:
I know what you're thinking: 'What is a Classroom Mission Statement?'
A classroom mission statement is a shared statement that communicates who we are, what we value, and how we want to operate as a classroom community. It should reflect the collective voice of your students and serve as a reminder of the kind of classroom you are committed to creating together.
A strong mission statement should answer questions such as:
Who are we?
What do we value?
How do we want to treat one another?
What do we want to accomplish together?
Example: We are the Symphonic Band Class who represents the Valdosta Middle School Band Program. We value teamwork, kindness and respect. We treat others the way we want to be treated. Together we will grow as musicians through rehearsal collaboration and performance.
Learn. Lead. Grow.
Success comes from discipline and a willingness to work.
We believe we can succeed!
Putting my best foot forward every day.
Rising, Helping, Growing ...we aim to achieve!
