Project Citizen Period 2 thanks you for taking our Drug Free Zone survey. A Drug Free Zone is any specific location in the community, typically schools and other public areas, where people convicted of selling drugs are given the maximum penalty. For schools, the radius is 1000 feet and for public areas, the radius is 500 feet.
