Internet Safety Reflection

Internet Safety Training was implemented for grades K-12 in Henrico County Public Schools during the 0708 academic year, as mandated by the Governor of Virginia. The intent of the Sate of Virginia and the Department Of Education (DOE) through this initiative was for students to receive training throughout the year rather than as a one-shot, lecture-style event.

The DOE determined that this first year would consist of implementation and reflection.

From this reflection, changes will be made to HCPS training to make it more effective for the 0809 academic year. Our new plan must be submitted to the state to fulfill the law as enacted by the General Assembly.
