PAS - National Conference Survey

Investigation...Questions...Nothing is committed yet!

Change is never easy, but having been a former Finance Committe Chair for the National FFA Board, I do not see how an organization the size of PAS can continue to fight to keep registration costs to keep costs low. (With 500,000+ FFA members, National FFA struggles to keep convention costs affordable. PAS is much, much smaller than FFA, and, National FFA has fincially supported PAS to keep it alive. I am not sure how much longer FFA is willing to keep feeding money to National PAS.)

Name

  1. In my opinion, moving the National PAS Conference to Orlando, Flordia would be an acceptable option...IF... the cost of the conference were significantly lower.
    Yes
    No

  1. Every-other-year, the National Conference would need to be conducted in a similar way to how it is currently conducted. Every-other-year the conference would be conducted in conjuction with the Ag Connect Expo.
    Good Idea
    Bad Idea

  1. Because the Ag Connect Expo is conducted in early January...
Iowa could conduct our state qualifying conference earlier.
Iowa would NOT be able to conduct our state qualifying conference earlier.

  1. I would support the connection with Ag Expo Connect...only IF...National PAS conference costs were...
    $300 per member or less.
    $250 per member or less.
    $150 per member or less.
    $100 per member or less.
I would NOT support a merger.

  1. No details or cost details can be given at this time. Please reply below with any questions that you would like National PAS to investigate. (Given that National PAS has very few corporate sponsors, we probably have limited power to negotiate.)
